Grow Timsbury is a community organisation formed in 2021 with the aim of acquiring piece of land in the village to benefit the whole community.

Through the growing of healthy, sustainable, low cost food, we will seek to improve biodiversity and climate resilience, support and nurture people’s wellbeing and mental health, and celebrate the local area. Training in its widest sense will also be central to what we do.

Our search for a piece of land is a work in progress, but in the meantime we have been busy.  We have started a Village  Market that is now in its second year.  The market runs on the last Saturday of each month and attracts around a dozen local traders selling delicious, local, sustainable produce.  Go to out Village Market page to find out more.  In addition to this we are attending local events and giving talks, forming contacts with other village organisations, local growing groups and B&NES council.
