The Village Market

Shop local, be sustainable.

Join us as the 2026 market season starts again on Saturday 25th April, 9.30am to noon at the Conygre Rec field, BA2 0JQ.

As before, the markets will take place on the last Saturday of the month from April to November and this year, in response to your suggestions, we are extending the running time to 12 noon.

We will be joined by our regular stallholders bringing you cheese, cakes, bread, preserves, plants, flowers to name but a few.  In addition this year we will have Rutab selling luxury dates, Nani Ma tempting us with Indian street food and Joanna of Bath with her beautiful soft furnishings.

Hazel Mullen from Threadfare will be working her magic in the Repair Room so please bring along any sewing repairs you need done. We are also pleased to say that The Bike Whisperer and Sharpening Services will be returning this year.

Most months there will be a themed activity, or event, which will focus on a topic relating to healthy and/or sustainable living.  These events will include wildlife, foraging, cookery, gardening, and sustainable fashion.

And of course there will be the ever popular pop-up cafe and coffee van where you can catch breath and watch the world go by.

Keep an eye on our facebook page for full details of who will be trading at the market and what events are being run.
