It was fabulous to be get the Village Market rolling again at the end of April. For the first one after the winter break there was so much to do and it’s fair to say were slightly harassed in the run-up! That was all quickly forgotten though as first the traders arrived, so lovely to see them after the break, and then as the market filled up with lots of visitors, creating the buzz and chatter that makes the market the sociable event that it is. To crown it all, despite a slightly glum forecast, the sun came out too! It was great to have The Active Way there too, with their free bike activities and maintenance. We were so pleased to be back and we hope all our vsitors were too, thank you as always for your support.
We’re looking forward now to May 31st, when we have a full market. All our regular traders will be there, plus a new woodworking stall and Palette & Pasture will be back with their delicious ice cream. There will be a mobile sharpening van for all your tool and knife sharpening and in the repair room bike maintenance and sewing repairs will be available again. Come and join us!
